The six-episode Knuckles limited series has been available to stream on Paramount+ since late April, but fans interested in adding the Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off to their physical collection don’t have to wait much longer. Three different editions of Knuckles are available to preorder now ahead of its September 10 release, including one that comes with a collectible steelbook case.
Knuckles Steelbook Edition (Blu-ray)
$27 (was $32) for Steelbook | $22 for Blu-ray | $17 for DVD
The steelbook edition of the Blu-ray is available to order for $27 (was $32) at Amazon. When compared to other retailers like Target, you’re saving a couple bucks by locking in your preorder at Amazon. Walmart had been taking preorders for this edition of Knuckles, but that listing has since disappeared.
If you don’t care about steelbook cases, you can opt for the standard Blu-ray release for $22 (was $26). A DVD version is also up for preorder for $17 (was $18).

Idris Elba, who played Knuckles in the Sonic 2 film, reprised his role for the Knuckles TV show. The six-part live-action series follows the echidna as he trains his protégé, Wade, and teaches him how to fight and fend for himself on the battlefield. The show is earning mixed reviews from critics, with our Knuckles review saying it “works pretty well” as a family-friendly budget comedy.
